HALLÉ Charles arrived in Creuse at the end of the 19th century, he met Ernest Hareux, Jeannot, Humblot.
He practices the same type of painting there: naturalist realism of good quality.
But above all he met Armand Guillaumin and Eugène Alluaud and it was they who influenced the painter to move towards impressionism and work from nature.
HALLÉ Charles will apply these lessons and from now on the artist's compositions will be bathed in a superb light that he will be able to capture sumptuously.
A landscaper, he became a member of the Salon des Artistes Français from 1894.
